ストックフォト用に海外に撮影はよく行ってたけど、ベルビアが発売されるまでは4×5のカメラでの撮影だったので、いつもアシスタントと二人で撮影して回ってました。カメラと交換レンズ、そしてフィルムの入ったホルダーで相当な重量とおおきさだったからね。

ベルビアが出て、35mmの一眼レフで撮影出来るようになってからは、一人であちこち撮影して回ってました。ホテルを出て地下鉄に乗って適当な駅で降り、ひたすらホテルに向かって歩いて帰ると言う感じで写真を撮り歩いてました。

十字路に来て、真っ直ぐ行くか、右へ行くか左へ行くか、それによって出会う風景が違うのがストリートフォトの面白いところあり、楽いところでもあります。

When I went abroad, I went around taking pictures here and there by myself. I would leave my hotel, get on the subway, get off at the appropriate station, and walk back toward my hotel, taking pictures as I went.
It is an interesting and easy part of street photography that the scenery you encounter is different depending on whether you go straight, right, or left when you come to a crossroads.
The picture I happened to look up at the hand of a child making soap bubbles with his hands on the balcony of an apartment building.
